Mediterranean
Weekend
Three days between Madrid, Valencia and the Mediterranean light — a journey that became an editorial story.
Leaving Madrid
The city was still quiet when I left Madrid. One coffee, a small bag and the feeling that the weekend ahead would become something more than a simple journey.
Valencia was waiting at the end of the road, along with a different rhythm, warmer light and a story we had not yet photographed.
A city made for wandering.
Arrival meant leaving the schedule behind for a few hours. Old streets, sunlit façades, ice cream melting faster than expected and the effortless energy of a city facing the sea.
Where light
met the dress.
A champagne satin dress, bare feet and the final warmth of the day. The landscape was not a background — it became part of every frame.
Between
the frames.
The finished photographs show only the final instant. Behind them were wind, sand, changing light, adjustments between takes and the quiet concentration of the team.
These imperfect moments are part of the story too.
Back to Madrid.
Sunday arrived slowly: breakfast, the last light from the hotel room and the road back home. Valencia stayed behind, but the colors, photographs and atmosphere of the weekend travelled with me.
